Baod Up — Signage & Branding Project by Notatek
Custom halo-lit channel letters and exterior storefront signage crafted for Bao'd Up. Our team utilized crisp cool-white LED backlighting to create a striking halo effect against the textured stone facade, ensuring high nighttime visibility and a sophisticated modern brand presence.
Notatek produced electric signs for Baod Up.
This image features a modern, halo-lit channel letter sign for "Bao'd Up" mounted on a textured stone exterior wall. The 3D letters are back-lit with cool white LEDs, creating a glowing outline against the dark façade, and the logo incorporates a small green leaf element on the letter 'd'.
Baod Up
Exterior Halo-Lit Storefront Signage
Bao'd Up needed an exterior sign that could mount directly onto a dark, heavily textured stone wall. The signage had to stay clear and legible from the street after dark without washed-out hot spots.
Reverse Channel Letter Fabrication
We fabricated custom 3D reverse channel letters with solid metal faces and open backs. The assembly includes a green leaf accent integrated into the letter 'd' and a small block of secondary Chinese characters. Cool-white LED modules were mounted internally along the back inside faces.

Stone Wall Mounting
Mounting to the rough split-face stone required threaded rod standoffs set to a uniform depth. Keeping each letter offset from the wall allows the light to spread evenly into a crisp outline. Power feeds were routed through small drill holes in the grout lines to keep wiring out of sight.
The result
Dark metal letterforms floating in front of cool white halos.
Clear legibility from the main roadway at night.
A glowing white outline cast wide across textured gray stone.
